With the amount of injuries and withdrawals from tournaments on the mens and womens pro tour these days,many people and tennisplayers including tennis legend Martina Navratilova are suggesting that the cause is because of there being too many tournaments on the tour and the players are getting tired out because of the lack of proper rest.So due to this fact do you think they should shorten the amount of tournaments played in a year or should they keep it the same? TENNIS FASHION Something that has become a big part of the pro tennis tour nowadays is FASHION, from the tennis clothes that venus wiliams wore in the australian open that caused quite a stir to the one side short sleeve one side long sleeve shirt that martina hingis is now sporting and other different types of attire that other women on the tour are now showing off.The tennis clothes these days are more colourful and have more spunk than the former tradition of wearing all white clothing. 
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO DOUBLES TENNIS Remember those days when doubles tennis was almost taken as seriously as singles,seems these days it doesn't even exist with the low amount of television coverage and the lack of top players playing the doubles events,many fans dont even know who the top doubles players are.Which brings me to the subject of why the top players in singles dont play much doubles anymore,could it be the fact that there are too many singles tournaments in a year for the top players to worry about or maybe it is the lack of rest because there are too many tournaments in a year ,so what should the wta and atp tour do? Should they give the players an off season for the sake of keeping doubles tennis alive or maybe they should organize doubles tournaments that are almost as
important as the slams and are mandatory too play or maybe they should get television contracts for doubles play and advertise doubles instead of just sticking too singles ,it could get them extra money and a whole new type of audience and popularity.
